DARIA NIKOLAEVA | SELECTED WORKS
My work begins with curiosity – asking questions that open possibilities and reveal the deeper shape of an idea. I believe ideas are most powerful when they can be seen, shared, and acted on, so I focus on making them tangible early, turning concepts into forms that invite engagement. Every project as a learning process – from understanding the intent of the originators to exploring multiple ways it might live in the world. I use visualization not just to show what something could be, but to test how it works, how it feels, and how it might evolve. Design is both translation and co-creation: bridging vision and reality, and building the conditions for ideas to thrive.
This portfolio is organized around four guiding design principles. Every project brings its own mix of principles, because meaningful work rarely comes from a single lens. Ideas, systems, and stories overlap, and that overlap is where the strongest work takes shape. The selected works are simply different doorways into that practice.
